Editor: icon tool fails to add image

tested with version 0.88.2, downloaded from ppa, on ubuntu 10.04.4

steps:

1. open shutter, select a PNG image, click "Edit"
2. Select the "insert image:" tool on the bottom panel (I like to put the penguin on my screenshots)
3. click on the original image to drop the new image onto the original

ERROR:

WARNING: DBus connection to org.freedesktop.compiz failed --> setting keyboard shortcuts may not work when using compiz

The penguin image is not added.
