no, via the update-manager. it all started when i upgraded to 12.04 and this error comes in series with several other error reports...

Yes, I too have had problems updating software on 12.04, Youre not the only one to report this kind of issue, and it will be fixed as soon as possible.

I think its that 12.04 is looking for a precise package, but maybe its only finding oneiric packages (but i'me not shore). This will be fixed as soon as possible by a developer.
