I also confirm this problem with GnomeBaker. Cannot write or erase a CDRW by starting GnomeBaker the normal way by clicking it from Applications menu. Can only write or blank a CDRW if I start GnomeBaker as superuser from command line using 'sudo gnomebaker'.

Confirmed
With Feisty 7.04 updated 2007-04-14 i cannot write cdrw if i'm in normal user with sudo i can.

The bug appears to be fixed now. I don't know how it was fixed or what was done but it was probably one of the Ubuntu updates. Can anyone tell me how this was fixed?. Thanks to all who helped to fix it.
