Bug Description
When trying to install 12.04 beta the installer crashed on the screen where you chose your login picture. I then realized that the problem caused the built in camera which obviously has issues with the newer drivers. I got around this by downloading Kamerka (cheese didnt help) which kept my webcam busy and the installer didn't crash. Finaly I got my 12.04 beta.
Other video bug is with my logitech C210 usb webcam. In 11.10 it worked great with 640x480 resolution. Now it wants to capture 160x120 by default and setting it to 640x480 is impossible. But it works in 640x380 for some reason. But even in this resolution the image is in a different format or something as the image is much worse than before(even though the resolution is almost the same). I just started developing some video recognition software with OpenCV (it uses v4l) and it makes it impossible to work with that kind of image.
Hope you fix this soon! (At least make t possible to install Ubuntu without crashes :) )
I forgot! My computer is Asus F3-series, F3sr to be exact and the built in camera is Syntek Sonix 1.3MP usb webcam.
