Unity panel and icon bar overlap full screen applitcations on secondary display

I have two monitors and I like to play a fullscreen video on the secondary monitor. The problem I am experiencing is that when you go back to the primary monitor and start interacting with applications, the unity panel and icon bar overlap the fullscreen video on the secondary monitor.

Hi! Sorry for the long delay - There's been a report floating around for some time now (bug 748539). It's been fixed, supposedly, though it has not been pushed to 12.04. I'm merging the two reports.
