Bug Description

Steps to reproduce:
1. Using VirtualBox, create a new Ubuntu virtual machine
2. Install MAAS server on that VM

What happens:
After the installation completes and the vm is rebooted, user is presented with a black screen and a flashing cursor

What should happen:
User is presented with the tty to login into the newly installed Ubuntu MAAS server.

Workaround:
Once you get to the black screen you can manually switch tty (CTRL+ALT+F1 -- since it's a VM use the right CTRL + ALT combo) to get to the login prompt

This is not a bug in the maas code. I'm not even sure it's a bug in the maas package, but I'll retarget there anyway since I can't think of anywhere better right now.

no longer affects: maas
