No two-finger right click
No scrolling
In addition
The trackpad is unusably slow.

Hardware is black macbook core 2 duo.

More information:
I removed and reinserted the appletouch kernel module, and things improved. The sensitivity increased to the point of being usable, and tap-to-click started working.

However, the advanced features of the trackpad still don't work:
No double-tap-and-hold-to-drag
No two-finger right click
No scrolling

Also, this is under the live-cd. I have not installed it on the macbook, yet.

I'm closing this bug, because:
(a) in the final relase of 7.04 the touchpad behavior is much improved
(b) the touchpad is (mostly) tunable via the dizzying array of options for the synaptics driver in xorg.conf, as well as by using synclient

However, I will be opening a new bug to report the macbook touchpad's flakey sensitivity.

Changed in xorg-driver-synaptics:
status: Unconfirmed → Rejected
