Bug Description

When trying to install vdr-plugin-xineliboutput on xubuntu precise beta, I get the following error message:

E: /var/cache/apt/archives/vdr-plugin-xineliboutput_1.0.7+cvs20111211.1625-1_amd64.deb: »/etc/vdr/plugins/xineliboutput/allowed_hosts.conf.dpkg-new« can not be read: File or directory not found

Hint: The last part of the error message (beginning at "can not") was in German originally and I translated it. So the exact wording may differ.

Although I am using xubuntu, I think it should not make a difference for the VDR packages.

It looks like there was something wrong with my installed system. After a complete removal (including config files) of all VDR packages and re-installation, the install of vdr-plugin-xineliboutput succeeded.
