Bug Description

Sorry but I am not a developer and therefore don't know about inside packages used in Unity. I report this bug because I did not find this behavior in any previous releases (10.04,10.10,11.04,11.10).

In more detail:
-Rhythmbox is playing music
-Then, I leave my computer as it so it will start to dim screen
-Finally, it will turn off the monitor. At this precise time, if rhythmbox has "th" sound coming in the song, then the sound that comes is "th th th" and again the song continues again without problems.
-So, in effect, whichever sound coincides with the turning off of the screen, that sound comes out thrice with a little skipping noise. I wish I could record it for your reference.

Please forgive if this is not really a bug and maybe performance of Unity requires more resources.

Thanks,
Abhishek

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/970572/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.
