unity-panel-service crashed with SIGABRT in raise()

As soon as I booted in, panel applets (or indicators, or I cannot really keep track of what you are supposed to call them) started appearing from left to right (this bit is as usual), then they all vanished, then started reappearing again. This repeated a few times, then back to normal.
