Bug Description
Since upgrading to Precise, empathy no longer sets my status back to available after a period of idleness. Even though I am back at my computer, typing and moving the pointer, my status doesn't change back. (in 11.10, it would automatically set me back to available)
(similar to #865766, but that's marked invalid and/or related to GNOME shell, which I'm not using)
