Bug Description
I've been using Gnome Classic desktop with no effects for awhile. Occasionally, the panels disappear as well as window styling which seems to momentarily revert to some ancient/default GTK style and then the panels and UI theming reappear, like the panel/and/or window manager crashed and restarted (I don't know enough about it to be sure what's happening). It hasn't yet caused me to lose any work as everything is working normally after the anomaly. There are no error messages and I don't know where in the logs to look to see what might be happening.
I'm reporting this bug since it has happened this morning twice inside 15 minutes. My uptime is 20 days and I'm wondering if the increased instability is due to the fact that I haven't rebooted in awhile. It's not a memory leak, as far as I know, since I've been keeping track. To be fair, 20 days is at least twice as long as Gnome Shell ever ran without completely crashing the system, but I used to run pre-Unity versions of Ubuntu for weeks/months on end without crashing. Unity, Unity2D and Gnome Shell are all too pathetically unstable for serious use.
