Unlimited scrollback

Bug Description

I'd like to have unlimited scrollback. There is no way to achieve that in the UI. I did notice a secret hack in another report about using -1 which is counter-intuitive.

Would it be unreasonable to simply always have unlimited scrollback?

I don't know if in the refactoring in already this way, but there was the idea to have unlimited scrollback as default and configurable via d-conf, because it's not an option many users may want to change from default.

it seems that libvte doesn't support the unlimited scrollback right now

Mario, Vte does support unlimited scrollback (you have to set a negative value using set_scrollback_lines), it's just that set_scrollback_lines doesn't work at all right now. I don't know if it's a pantheon-terminal's or vte's bug, though
