Bug Description
I'm using Debian testing powerpc on PowerMac G5. I've tried to install i386 target and after a boostsrap it tries to chroot there and continue installing. But it fails with fork: Invalid argument. Manual chroot there fails on ls the same.

This looks to me like the same issue as bug 739785 (where it was reported on ARM and MIPS hosts). Basically user mode i386 guests have a number of problems relating to threading support.
