rhythmbox crashed with SIGSEGV in g_settings_get_value()

I tried to configure the DAAP plugin. The crash occurs every time I try to alter any option.
it doesn't matter which option I choose - if I click on the checkbox, rhythmbox freezes completely an then crashes after about 10 to 15 seconds. I can reproduce this behaviour each time I start rhythmbox and it occurs even with the latest updates from 12.04 amd64 dev release.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
