Bug Description

When using Janitor on Ubuntu Tweak 0.7.0 under Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric), if I click any category in the left pane (i.e., Thumbnails, Apt Cache, Old Kernel, etc.), the details show briefly in the right pane and then disappear. The category remains visible in the right pane and is not checked. If I check the Category box in the right pane, detail items do not re-appear. So I cannot choose individual items to clear. It is all or nothing.

If I check either of the groups (Personal or System), each category under the Group reacts exactly the same in the right pane as if I had checked only that category. In particular, if I check System, Apt Cache and its' detail items appear in the right pane and then the details disappear leaving the Apt Cache category unchecked, then Old Kernel and its' detail items appear unde the Apt Cache category and then those detail items disappear leaving the Apt Cache and Old Kernels categories unchecked with no detail items, and so on through the rest of the categories.

To reproduce:

1. Choose Janitor;
2. Check any category (Thumbnail cache, Apt Cache, Old Kernel, Package Configs, or Unneeded Packages);
3. Category and detailed items will appear in the right pane;
4. Detail items will disappear, leaving ony Category unchecked;
5. Checking category will not make detail items re-appear.

Here is the output from executing ubuntu-tweak from the terminal:

Could you give me a screenshot of Ubuntu Tweak Janitor on Ubuntu 11.10? Thanks.

It seems as if my updates this morning fixed the problem. However, Janitor does not function as it did prior to this issue. Now, when you check a category in the left pane, the category and all detail appears briefly. Then the detail disappears. However, if I click the expansion indicator, the detail re-appears. I am attaching a video to show this.

Thank for your video, this is the design of Janitor.

I will consider if I could improve on this.
