[precise] Menus and notification icons stopped working in some apps (was Notification area icon stopped responding to clicking)

After recent updates, NM applet no loner responds to clicking (both right and left buttons). *Sometimes* menu appears but in a different corner of the screen (notification area is on the right in my setup, menu appears on the left). Other icons work properly (Gajim, Skype, GMail Notifier, Dropbox etc)

Ooops, the same trouble with update manager!

Oh, this also seems to be a problem with menus in e.g. evince - they appear rare and in a random place.

Very interesting observation: I'm using Awesome windows manager and all of these troubles happen on all "tags" (i.e. virtual desktops) BUT the first! So on the first tag everything is OK.

Maybe affects Awesome as well?
