Terminal in background gets keyboard signal and reacts somehow?

Bug Description

Im in FF and when im done i want to close all open
I see in terminal witch was in background this (see also pic)

Well how did terminal read it if i didnt open ff with terminal?
And why didnt closed in terminal ubuntu-bug ?
And why it listened to FF if it was already open?
Shouldnt it just give link to browser and not open by its choosing FF?
