edubuntu beta2 usb live - 2012-03-26. I install myunity using software-center, but, when the installation ends, I have the question mark icon instead of myunity icon in my launcher. See attached screen-shot.

can you reproduce this bug with others applications?
If not probably this issue is related to MyUnity and it's way to manage the icon, is it is so please mark this report as affacting myunity.

I installed compiz too and the problem is not present. I unlock the question mark icon from the laucher the lock it again and I get the correct icon.

Sandra, thank you for reporting this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

Please, could you open a terminal and issue the following command...:

apt-cache policy myunity

...and attach here the output you get?

I do not experience the problem any more with the today (20120327.1) beta2 version. So I considered it fixed.

Sorry for considering it fixed. I shut down the system and rebooted it and now myunity icon has been substituted by a question mark icon.
