Installer does not see harddisk

Bug Description
Hi,
I'm using an Toshiba Tecra S3. Ubuntu 6.10 does install flawless, Feisty Fawn Beta 2 Installer CDs boots up correctly. I can launch the installer, choose the language, ... but the partition-tool does not see any harddisks.
If i do an
rmmod ata_piix
rmmod ahci
insmod ahci.ko
the harddisk appears and the installation goes well. After rebooting the system dies again, as the harddisk has vanhished
