Bug Description
I recently updated my system (12.04 Beta) through the software update (upper right corner of desktop) Since that update, when I boot my laptop (since the initial reboot after upgrade) I can only see my desktop wallpaper, and the pointer, nothing else. To get anything to run, during boot, I need to select recovery from the grub menu, then on the text menu, select boot normal, in order to boot into Unity 2D, where everything seems to work okay, however I can not shrink my launcher icons. MyUnity says it is in 2D only mode. I do not have any proprietary Radeon drivers installed (I checked via Ubuntu website how to uninstall).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
