all the icons and letter are distorted and some are missing. somewhere it shows only dots of color insted of words

Bug Description
all the icons and their names in desktop panel such as bluetooth, user account ect are not diplayed correctly, when logged in as genome shell. there is no problem when logged in under unity. the letters and icons are either missing or blurred or box of colored dots.
