Bug Description

Please sync wavemon 0.7.4-1 (universe) from Debian testing (main)

New version of the package which fixes Debian Bug #576655. This bug severely
limits the usefulness of this package.

Changelog entries since current precise version 0.6.10-1:

wavemon (0.7.4-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream release
     - Depreciate use of /proc/net/wireless (closes: #576655)
  * Drop patch 02-fix-wavemonrc.5-man-errors.patch, applied upstream

Hi,

As we are past Feature Freeze, you need a FFe (Feature Freeze exception) before being able to sync the package. This is why I subscribed Ubuntu Release to the bug report.
Also, could you please provide the info detailed at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FreezeExceptionProcess#FeatureFreeze_for_new_upstream_versions ?

You've tested it works on Ubuntu after the update?

Yes.

Wavemon has no rdeps, so updating shouldn't cause any problems.

Attached are build and install logs.

Upstream doesn't provide a ChangeLog file, so I've diff'd the NEWS file
instead, and generated a ChangeLog file using git2cl.

FYI, it's worth explicitly mentioning you're the Debian maintainer in bug requests like this since that generally counts for something when we review such requests.
