Unity unstable after updates (flickering Desktop, dash, top bar)

Bug Description

after installing updates and rebooting, grapics are very unstable, when ever you move the mouse the desktop flickers, dash, and top bar are unstabe.
I also have the Kubuntu -desktop installed as well, I have logged into that and it seems fine.
