Bug Description

Empathy does not take it into account Rosetta translations for string #896 ("Echo cancellation helps to make your voice sound clearer to the other person, but may cause problems on some computers. If you or the other person hear strange noises or glitches during calls, try turning echo cancellation off and restarting the call.").

Example: French local (https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/precise/+source/empathy/+pots/empathy/fr/896/+translate)

It appears translated to me. I see that you have added a new translation to that string, if you mean "It didn't appeared in Empathy instantly", then it will take a few days until the scheduled export runs and generates new language packs - please be patient for a week.

No, I don't (I know as how it works)

Indeed, I submited a bunch of translations yestarday for Empathy. But,
to me, string #896 was already translated in French for a while. Yet, it
didn't appear as such on two of my computers fully updated *before* my
modification. Seems weird that it appears translated to you. Maybe I'm
mistaken and shall wait for the next update of language-pack-*-fr-*...

Strange, it works for me even when switching to French.

OK, got it (thanks to your screenshot): actually, the problem is not
about string #896 but... #895!

I'm really sorry.

Shall I report a new bug?

No problem, and no need for another bug.
Now, that other string is translated to Hungarian, but indeed not to French, the mo file does not contain its translation. But the string looks like it was translated just yesterday by you, so I think the next language pack should solve this.

OK, wait and see.

Thank you very much.
