Bug Description
I had assigned the Alt-F5 shortcut to open the terminal in the settings panel. Nevertheless, pressing Alt-F5 restores window's unmaximied state. This function has no shortcut assigned in the keyboard settings panel.
This is a regression from gnome-shell 2.2, where the terminal was being opened normally.

I found, that this can be done be dconf-editor or via command line: desktop/ wm/keybindings/ unmaximize "['<Primary> <Super> Down', '<Super>Down']"
dconf write /org/gnome/
To restore the original value, use this command: desktop/ wm/keybindings/ unmaximize "['<Primary> <Super> Down', '<Super>Down', '<Alt>F5']"
dconf write /org/gnome/
