Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-session

On log in, desktop tries to load but then returns to the log in screen again. I usually have to solve this with failsafe gnome. I log in and then delete the ".gnome2" and ".gnome2_private" folders. And this temporarily solves the problem because it happens on the next log in.

Thanks for your bug report. The crash looks like a memory corruption. Could you try to get a valgrind log for it (you can follow the instructions from https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Valgrind for that)?
