Bug Description
I have tested and here in my language at explaining the cause - I see the editing of a video like a cable suspended bridge - sorry for th example my civil engineering mind - the crashing while editing a video, and while rendering that same video seems to occur by rushing ahead - the quicker I go the faster Pitivi crashes - so I let the machine process whatever it is doing, and the longer I wait the longer it takes to crash - So I concluded that like the cable strands of a bridge, the video was adjusting each of the anchors after editing - and like tuning a piano, without meter or warning as to when the deck of the bridge is balanced, if I started another process before the whole video run through, especially (that wrong) rendering keeps on freezing - which I have notice letting the system monitor graphic of the CPU run, which flops out along the timeline simultaneously. Another ting that got me to question, is the process tag, where ¨Python¨ refers to ¨Pitivi¨ and while doing so confusedly, though the program is working, or supposed to do so, the process is shown as ¨Sleeping¨ mode(?)
