Install crashes while "Creating User"

Installer crashed while installing Ultimate Edition 3.2, seemed to freeze at creating user before crashing. Aport quickly began collecting information and I am submitting it here for review. The problem is reproducible.

Machine HP Laptop - attempting dual boot woth Vista but Grub screwed Vista boot as well. Hey ho. Vista partition still available so data there is safe. Have an image of it as well - phew!
