Seems to affect MSN messenger, in the way that it no longer updates the online/offline status for those contacts.

Strangely enough, it started when I added my Facebook account (I think!). From memory, I don't think it happens when my internet disconnects, but I cannot always confirm if that's when it occurs.

Happened to me when my computer went to standby. This switches the wireless adapter off.

The only account I have enabled in my Empathy install is a Google Talk install. When my wireless internet access begins to be intermittent, this error tends to appear.
