Bug Description
Opened gedit from a terminal session with "gedit /var/log/
Attempting to resize to a window using the min/max button did not respond, neither did double-clicking the title-bar. A few seconds later everything bar the desktop background disappeared followed some seconds later by the various running application windows reappearing - with gedit now in a windowed state - along with the crash report for compiz dialog.
