I've get the same error. But there wasn't a probleme.
I was installing Ubutu 12.4.

Same problem in LiveCD, suddenly there were icons next to each button

don't reopen closed bug, that one is likely a duplicate and the stacktrace is useless, a new bug should be submitted instead if you get the issue as well

I start Ubuntu 12.04 from a USB 3.0 Stick as a livesystem. When i start to install the System this Bug happens. the installation of the system ran without problems.

Please check if solved by update to g-s-d 3.4.0
To check update with beta2 live CD: when at choice of "Try Ubuntu"/"Install Ubuntu", (connect net and) switch to tty1 (ctrl-alt-F1) and 'sudo apt-get install aptitude' then use 'sudo aptitude'. (Or it's possible with ftp and dpkg if, like me, you also have errors with apt-get.) (Can also get http://ddebs.ubuntu.com/pool/main/g/gnome-settings-daemon/gnome-settings-daemon-dbgsym_3.4.0-0ubuntu3_amd64.ddeb via curl.)

i have similar problems i couldnt get my netbook started had to run it off the disk again an get online threw the try it mode, when i alrdy have it on my netbook ???? confused oh and i cant watch vids or movies or play games without a flash player thing or use my webcam and i went to noobnalbs.com for alt. flash players and it still dont let ,me. so what do i need to do please help me.
