problem when restoring resolution to many times

Bug Description

I attached the hdmi cable from my sony lcd-tv to my laptop and accidentally pressed restore to previous resolution after manually changing the resolution under screens. this all went OK, but then I had the option to restore again, which I did (hoping to restore to the previous correct setting, which is just had discarded), with this error as a result...
