Bug Description

Slingshot receives an X error along with some weird signal and closes every 2nd time I open it. GDB output with a backtrace is attached.

It doesn't happen every 2nd time I open it, something like 1/10 (it is
still too many crashs, of course). It might be caused by asynchronous
things.
