Bug Description
Binary package hint: libxine1
I guess this is a bug in libxine1, but I'm not sure.
When I browse smb/cifs shares with Konqueror and try to open multimedia files like mp3 or avi, I get an error messages from xine claiming that it has no plugin to handle the resource. This is something that bugs me since Dapper or even Breezy and still persists in latest Feisty.
Browsing smb/cifs with Nautilus and opening media files works just fine in the latest Ubuntu Feisty Beta 1. I guess that gstreamer can handle smb/cifs shares rather well, but can't compare both anymore because since Dapper there's no gstreamer-plugin for Amarok or Kaffeine like it has been before in Breezy.
