Bug Description

Description: Ubuntu precise (development branch)
Release: 12.04
ubuntu-desktop:
  Installed: 1.264
  Candidate: 1.264
  Version table:
 *** 1.264 0
        500 http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I added the alarm-clock application which I use extensively. However, after full examination of all the choices in the dashboard displays, I cannot find it to launh it. The alarm-clock applet does not allow me to import a previous list, and since I can't start this application, I don't know whether it does either at the moment.

I will try to start it from the console.

I also added alarm-clock and cannot launch it via Dash as it does not show up there. Synaptic and other Software center list it as installed, launching it via alt+f2 and command line works as well. Locking to launcher works too.

After installing, it locked itself to launcher, I unlocked it, but I do not know if it is related.

affects: ubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) → alarm-clock (Ubuntu)
