Bug Description
Please consider including the equivalent of fdisk etc. for GPT partitioned disks which are becoming increasingly common. Using fdisk etc. damages disks with this type of partition table. The current equivalent software (as far as I am aware) is GPT fdisk. I believe that the Debian package is called simply gdisk (which is also one of the main tools included). GPT fdisk offers more extensive tools than parted, for example, including a range of options specifically designed for data rescue and recovery, the ability to save and restore partition tables and probably a lot more I'm not aware of.

That sounds like a useful utility, but unfortunately it also pulls in libicu48, which is 22MB when installed (that represents over 5% of the entire Finnix distribution, pre-compression).
I'll leave this open in case it can be done in the future, but for now I don't want to add something thing large. Thank you for the suggestion though.
