I've had a quick look at the package and found there are a few problems with it:

- Lack of documentation - empty INSTALL file, no README file, etc.
- Running "python PyCmdr.py" causes a segmentation fault
- License info in the COPYRIGHT file is inconsistent with the website (which says it's GPL)
- setup.py does not look complete.

I'm afraid I'm not prepared to try packaging it for Ubuntu in its current state. Thanks for the suggestion though.
