Bug Description

When you switch on auto-save while you have unsaved files, they keep remain unsaved and there is no button to save them. We should automatically save them either when the switch is turned on or when the Preferences dialog is closed.

I think that now it works good for this aspect. The auto save function save the file at every change, if the file doesn't change yet there is no reason to save it

Mario, I agree with Andrea. If the user had created or opened a file with auto-save off, then turned auto-save on, the file should be saved at that point. What if the user had made a ton of changes, turned auto-save on, then closed the program assuming they'd saved it (since they told it to auto-save)?

You can't expect a user to know or care that the auto-save only happens when they type; they should just assume that as soon as auto-save is on, the file is always-up-to-date.
