Bug Description

Ubuntu-One file client (1.0.5.3) doesn't auto upload pictures from sd-card.

I already renamed "dcim" into "DCIM" according to ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-android-files/+bug/872021 ) but that did not help.

When I use force upload a message pops up "Already uploading..." but it doesnt.

Uploading a single photo works fine. But when multi-selecting several photos the ubuntu-one option doesn't show under share options (that might be a future improvement idea!).

Any ideas how can I set up auto-upload successfully ??

It worked flawlessly on my Droid1 before and I loved it !!

I am having the same issue on a Samsung GT-i9100. I have the auto-upload turned on and if I try the force upload, I get a "already uploading.." message.

If I manually put a photo into a folder, it will sync straight away.

Hi guys,
The "already uploading" gives me a hint for a workaround. Please force close Ubuntu One Files from the device settings (applications) screen, reopen it, and use "Force close" if you need. If your pictures don't get uploaded, you can delete /mnt/sdcard/Android/data/com.ubuntuone.android.files directory, and relaunch the app to select "Upload all pictures". We're working on improving auto upload.

Yay!
The new update fixed it. I could select the folder and it worked.
