Selecting in-message selects headers, too

Steps to reproduce:

1. open, or display, an e-mail
2. try clicking on text near the top of email content
3. try selecting contents of the email near the top

Expected results:
2. nothing happens
3. only the text content is selected

Current results:
2. part of headers and content gets selected
3. headers are selected along with the content

It looks like mouse input is initially mapped to the whole message, not just the contents, which breaks usability greatly as it's difficult to select text or click on links near the top of the message.
