Bug Description
If there is a new version, the user should have the possibility to tick a box saying:
"Do not inform me anymore about this upgrade."
and the choice should be remembered in preferences and the used should not be
informed again about this new version. If there comes even a newer upgrade, the
user should be informed again until the box is ticked again.
