Rhythmbox hangs regularly

I have noticed that Rhythmbox has been hanging regularly. I run Rhythmbox with cross-fading and album art switched on.

To see if I could nail down the issue, I ran Rhythmbox with debug messages switched on. When it hung I saw the usual flurry of tick_cb messages and then some other output. This is below:

This may be something to do with cross-fading, so I have switched off cross-fading, restarted RB and I will see if the issue occurs again. I will report back if and when it does.

I suspect this might indeed be an issue with the cross-fading. I have not noticed any hangs since I turned it off.

Could you test if this bug exist in new rhythmbox 2.97 version? 2.97 fixes lots of bugs, existing in 2.96, which is in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
