The main menu banner explodes when you add new content or edit existing content in IE (see screenshot).

This one is no longer true. Jim, make sure you test on karldev.
At the same time, there are still a number of issues on IE8 on this and other screens. Let's wait for Blaise to settle a bunch of other stuff.
