Crashes as stated in amd 64bit AMD 6970gpu--- also when turning cube the open windows on one nearby cube face will cause ghosts of themselves for 2 or more successive cube faces.

Bug 932125 is not the same-- different GPU and different driver sets-- my bug- this system has the latest proprietary drivers installed for an AMD 6960-- they are using an motherboard based Intel graphics controller with nouveau drivers. Requesting with the difference in hardware and drivers that this be considered a separate bug.

Oddly with this workstation- very new hardware I cannot even install ubuntu 11.10- the process completely fails although I have been able to install linuxmint 12.
