The next two lines state, "There seems to be a programming error in aptdaemon, the software that allows you to install/remove software and to perform other package management related tasks." Under Details, the message continues with, "Traceback (most recent call last):

SystemError: E:I wasn't able to locate a file for the ttf-mscorefonts
This problem first occurred when I tried installing Wine. Wine hung up at about 66% install. After a couple of hours of no improvement, I rebooted and was able to clear the Software Center, but nothing else would install. I have tried installing several versions of a sound recording program after this with the same message coming up each time. How do I fix this?
I am using Xubuntu 11.10
I think I am using the 5.0.4 version of the software center
