Bug Description

As I installed my OS last days new, a few times that PC is shown multiple times in Software Center "Sync between Computers" It has always the same name and is listed a few times. How can I remove some of it? I am also scared that my buyed software will not be installable via Softwarecenter some time then (?)

Hi, and thank you for your bug report. Are you still experiencing this issue with recent versions of Software Center? Many fixes have been made since then and it's very possible that this issue has been resolved for you. If that is the case, please let us know so that we can close this bug, or feel free to close it yourself.

If you are still getting the error, however, and so that we can try to gather more information to help us to debug this issue, could you please try running Software Center from a terminal window as follows:

  $ software-center

Then then please paste any output in the terminal to this bug report.

Thanks! Your help is much appreciated!

Hi Xwarman, and thanks for the further info. The traceback that you provided doesn't seem to apply to the issue that you describe. Could you please try running Software Center again, this time in debug mode from a terminal window as follows:

  $ software-center --debug 2> /tmp/software-center-debug.log

Then follow the steps to reproduce the issue (turn the "Sync Between Computers..." option off and then back on again), and then attach the file /tmp/software-center-debug.log to this bug report.

Thanks again for your help!

hey Xwarman, seems you have no more stacktrace, so, what are the exact steps you are following?
you have multiple copies because you installed multiple times ubuntu on the same computer I guess.

In the oneconf view, click on one of the computer on the left panel, then select "stop synchronizing <name>". This should remove it from your view. If you experience a crash, a popup should happen. Please report it and tell us here if it was the case.

Then, if you still see it after closing/reopening software-center (wait 30s for letting the synchronization happening), please tell us as well.
