Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg
Booting the feisty beta on a Macbook Pro results in X failing to start. Vesa is correctly chosen as the driver, and the "correct" resolution of 1024x768 is written. However, X fails to start - every 1024x768 mode is discarded with an "hsync out of range" error. Manually adding hsync and vertrefresh statements to xorg.conf results in X starting correctly - there are none by default.

I can confirm this on a friends Macbook Pro.
