The problem came up wen I tried to download and install usb-modeswitch and usb-modeswitch-data
I guess there's a problem with my eCAFE EX HD (produced by Hercules) wich uses Kernel Linux 2.6.35.4-ecafe-v4C
Nevertheless I need software that allows me to go online via my USB-modem HUAWEI Mobile Broadband E352 HSPA+ USB Stick
So: help in that case is very welcome!

You may need to run the following from a terminal window:

sudo apt-get install -f
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update

Then re-install the package.

If that does not resolve your issue, please mark the bug as "Confirmed"

That version is no more supported; and no expecting backport as it only concern 'security' problem.
