I think the problem is in OpenFoam output-files.
Please, attach an example.

Thanks.

no it's not, I have tried old, succeed calculation and tried to see
results of them.

At Paraview graphical user interface has blue borderlines,
all data and values can be selected but UI dose not show
image !

ALSO IF I OPEN PARAVIEW, OLDER OR NEWER VERSION
WHITOUT DATA, JUST PARAVIEWI GET
SAME ERROR MESSAGE LIKE:

X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3
  Extension: 137 (Uknown extension)
  Minor opcode: 4 (Unknown request)
  Resource id: 0x4c00067

Might be QT4 / QT3 or xorg issue as well, those have had
changes. I have also Mythfrontend and mythbackend GUI related issue,...

more:
X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3

How did you install paraview? From packages or compiling from source?

I have tested paraview as installed from OpenFOAM thirdparty
package ans as normal Ubuntu apt-get.

Both versions give same kind error nottice.

Error comes even paraview
started stand alone.

If you used instructions from the OpenFoam site [1], you installed prepackaged by OpenFoam community
version of Paraview.

Does the paraview_3.12 from the official repository works for you?

Both versions gives at start-up error message !

One is Official Thirparty from OpenFoam

and other from Ubuntu.

I have Ubuntu 12.4 alpha, so reason can be as well
at qt3/qt4 or even xorg related,...

My system was conditional until I made git pull
for OpenFoam and compiled all software.

I have tested both !

I had working installation compiled for 11.10 and
desided to compile OpenFOAM for 12.4 alpha.

I think it is the main reason. Try to uninstall compiled software and to install it again somewhere into /home/....

I do not see any proper way to reproduce the bug, if your self-compiled software crashes, sorry.

Closing the bug.

hi,

Even I remove ( clean ) and then install ParaView 3.12.0 64 bit
from Ubuntu , I will get immediately after starting software:

X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3

Extension: 137 (Uknown extension)

Minor opcode: 4 (Unknown request)

Resource id: 0x3e00067

Could this be Xorg related problem then ?

Do not close but try to transfer it correct
branch!
